Warehouse Supervisor

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Warehouse Supervisor at MKS greenfield organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, handling and distribution of our products. This is a full-time position based on-site. This Warehouse Supervisor will be reporting to Logistics Manager.

You Will Make an Impact by:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of goods
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment, inventory management and stock control
  • Optimize warehouse layout and location management.
  • Establish and implement warehouse management systems.
  • Ensure chemicals (hazardous chemicals) are stored in designated areas in compliance with regulations and implement safety measures according to the SDS.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse according to company policies, SOP, safety protocols, ISO, LMW requirement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Provide training and mentorship to warehouse staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely material supply, shipment coordination include waste/scrap management.
  • Prepare and analyse warehouse performance reports, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies
Skills You Bring:
  • Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment in a manufacturing industry or multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices, including inventory control, stock handling and distribution
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Effective leadership skill, high adaptability, and excellent communication.
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment
