Ansell is looking for a Specialist Global Packaging to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position you will play a vital role in manages the development of product packaging solutions for design artwork and solutions for Ansell’s diverse portfolio, while working as a team supporting throughout Global Packaging in meeting functional goals and succeed as a team.

The role works very closely with cross-functional teams and cross business units, in the development of project needs, requirements, scope and related timelines which meet the goals and priorities of the project.Functions include: Marketing, QA, Regulatory, Creative Team, Internal and External Plant members, Suppliers and Printers.

What your role will be?
  • Facilitate inputs required for packaging design projects
  • Ensure correct inputs and process are adhered to within the artwork management systems
  • Monitor production artwork development from agency handoff through & including final materials
  • Facilitate resolution of artwork file or printing issues with supplier/printer
  • Monitor all design extensions & adaptations across multiple structures and substrates for optimal design and print production results
  • Consult, collaborate, and collect the packaging copy with the Ansell cross-functional team
  • Communicate, and manage project priorities, timelines, and status to internal and external partners across multiple time zones.
  • Resolve or assist in the resolution of issues within and between projects or team
  • Follows up to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations
  • Ensure compliance to processes and establish discipline to standardized ways of working
  • Assist in every portion of the approval process between internal and external partners, ensure alignment at every step of the design and activation process.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to packaging project execution
  • Facilitate online proofing process, timeline, consolidation, and resolution of artwork changes
  • Communicate artwork revisions
  • Ensure all content is reviewed and approved by all business stakeholders
  • Responsible for the collection of packaging project inputs; partner with stakeholders to secure and validate the necessary inputs to effectively execute the project
  • Ensure suppliers are completing tasks and forms to the prescribed timelines
  • Ensure all projects’ feedback is properly tracked and documented and has been reviewed and agreed upon by all appropriate stakeholders
  • Demonstrate proficiency with on-line web tools and other tools & technology as required by the business
  • Any other tasks that the manager determines as needed for this position
What will you bring to Ansell?
  • Demonstrated experience in developing artwork and managing the artwork process from development to approval is a must
  • Proven record in Launching New Products or Redesigns in a Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Industrial Sector and Design Agencies will be beneficial
  • Experience in in project management and packaging development
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of effective creative packaging design practices, trends, techniques, and processes. Including general automation process and new packaging solutions including sustainable solutions.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to identify and execute effective solutions
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and develop collaborative relationships with colleagues across the company and client stakeholders
