Senior Assessment Executive

Overview

Process Level 2 (PL2) Senior Executives are responsible for all Post-Exam processes across BAC programmes. PL2 manages the marking timeline, results compilation, verification, quality assurance checks, and preparation for results endorsement via EBM. Their role ensures integrity, accuracy, and compliance in the final assessment lifecycle before results are released.

A. Post-Exam Responsibilities (Primary)

  • Receive all exam scripts and coursework from PL1 and Programme Office.
  • Coordinate mark sheet despatch, marker lists, and reminders to lecturers.
  • Track marking progress and obtain updates from markers.

  • Ensure completeness of

  • Coursework marks

  • Final exam marks

  • MCQ marks

  • Resit/Repeat marks (where applicable)
  • Perform first-level verification of marks (completeness & accuracy).
  • Run Campusone tabulation and ensure all components match approved assessment weightages.
  • Prepare and QC the Result Broadsheet before submitting to HOD.
  • Ensure all scripts are accounted for, stored properly before EBM (secure storage & labelling).
  • Prepare documents required for Exam Board Meeting (EBM).
  • Ensure EBM minutes are updated, complete, and aligned with supporting documents.
B. Quality Assurance Responsibilities
  • Ensure all changes requested during EBM are updated correctly.
  • Cross-check:

  • Missing marks

  • Duplicates

  • Incorrect weightage

  • Wrong student code/programme

  • Progression errors
  • Identify risk areas and red-flag unusual patterns (e.g., mass failure, sudden jumps in marks).
  • Ensure all audit trails are documented:

  • Emails

  • Marker confirmations

  • Revised marks requests

  • Errata sheets
  • SBM & EBM Minutes
C. Result Release Responsibilities
  • Prepare final results for Campusone.
  • Coordinate with Programme Office and Finance Department to ensure fee defaulters are cleared before release of results.
  • Ensure minutes of EBM are documented as evidence of endorsement.

D. Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend to student queries on results and progression.
