Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team to achieve high performance and operational excellence
  • Foster a strong team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and safety
  • Plan and manage production scheduling to meet customer demand while maximising capacity utilisation
  • Ensure smooth sequencing operations to support efficient production flow
  • Oversee mold maintenance, spare parts planning, and machine readiness to ensure minimal downtime
  • Ensure high equipment availability and reliability to support production targets
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and operational compliance
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives across operations
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices including Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Work closely with internal teams (production, supply chain, quality) and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, auditors) to ensure smooth operations
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and business objectives
  • Support material availability and optimise stock levels to meet production needs

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Management, or Supply Chain Planning
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and control
  • Experience in material management and demand forecasting
  • Expertise in mold management and maintenance processes
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools (Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, CIM)
