Summary of AirAsia Ride

AirAsia Ride is a core pillar of the AirAsia MOVE ecosystem, currently transitioning from a standalone e-hailing service into Malaysia’s leading multi-modal transport provider. Leveraging a massive database of 70 million annual passengers and 16.4 million monthly active users on Move App, we aim to dominate the "Airport-to-City" commute by providing seamless, bundled travel experiences. Our mission is to democratize travel across ASEAN by integrating cars, trains, and buses into a single, user-friendly digital platform.

Role Purpose

As the Product Manager for the Integrated Travel Hub (TIH), you will serve as a visionary architect for "Project Move-Easy," leading the product management and implementation of our next-generation multi-modal mobility platform. Your primary mission is to strengthen "Today's Business" and drive "Tomorrow's Engine," evolving AirAsia Ride into a unified travel ecosystem.

You will be responsible for building the "Intelligence Core" of our mobility services, integrating disparate transport modes—including KTM, RapidKL, and interstate buses—into a seamless door-to-door experience. You will lead the development of AI-powered routing, unified QR-based ticketing, and personalized travel recommendations, ensuring that AirAsia MOVE becomes the indispensable, all-in-one travel companion for every traveler in Malaysia and across ASEAN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Modal Integration: Lead the technical and product integration of rail (KTMB, Prasarana) and interstate bus operators via robust, scalable API architectures.
  • AI-Powered Operations & ETA Accuracy: Drive the development of the "Intelligence Core," utilizing AI for predictive dispatching and dynamic pricing to ensure high-precision ETA and minimize platform fulfillment gaps.
  • Unified Checkout Experience: Design and implement a single-tap, QR-based booking and payment system, powered by BigPay, for multi-leg journeys.
  • Ecosystem Bundling: Collaborate with the aviation and hotel teams to launch "Flight + Ride" and "Hotel + Ride" ancillary products, leveraging PNR-triggered bookings.
  • Product Roadmap Management: Execute the TIH strategic roadmap, moving from foundation (Q4 2026) to regional expansion (2027 and beyond).
  • App & UI/UX Modernization: Oversee the enhancement of passenger and driver applications, focusing on intuitive interfaces, real-time financial & ops tracking for drivers, and resolving system issues
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of advanced mapping solutions, ETA accuracy upgrades, and "Digital Control Tower" features to optimize platform fulfillment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with strategic tech partners (e.g., mapping and infrastructure providers) and internal "Special Forces" units to deliver high-velocity product updates.
