Job Description

  • Responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting plant operational data, while continuously monitoring and improving key IE KPIs such as productivity (kg/manhour), capacity and utilisation
  • Manage and optimise incentive schemes, overtime utilisation, and overall workforce efficiency
  • Conduct OEE analysis, cycle time studies, and assess new machine capacity requirements
  • Identify and drive process cost optimisation and efficiency improvements
  • Support digitalization initiatives and ergonomic improvements to drive operational efficiency and workplace safety
  • Lead and promote continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
  • Provide Industrial Engineering support for plant expansion projects, ensuring adherence to IE standards and best practices
  • Oversee maintenance, optimisation, and tender processes for Material Handling Vehicles (MHV)
  • Manage and improve plant layout and material flow, including optimisation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Maintain and manage operational systems including CUD, shift calendars, productivity tracking, incentive systems, overtime management, and headcount data
  • Ensure alignment with union requirements and production job coding standards
  • Manage and update FACT systems, including SAP configurations (e.g., article routing, COPC, MCM)
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting using Excel and Power BI
  • Ensure alignment with RICP standards and maintain required documentation and updates
  • Support and drive POR initiatives for ongoing operational improvement
  • Lead and participate in company activities including 5S, Kaizen, CBT programs, CIM initiatives, and events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automobile, or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to Industrial Engineering and Lean methodologies
  • Relevant certifications preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, SAP, VSM, TPM, Excel, AutoCAD, Visio, PowerPoint
