<p><strong>SALARY RANGE</strong></p><p>$93,600 - $99,840 per year.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>GENERAL DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>The Development Systems Administrator & Data Analyst supports JCCSF’s fundraising goals by strengthening the Salesforce systems, reporting tools, and analytical practices that guide Development planning and performance. Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, this position serves as the Development team’s primary day-to-day Salesforce partner and supports data integrity, dashboard development, performance analysis, donor segmentation, forecasting, and system optimization.</p><p><br></p><p>Through close collaboration with the Director of Campaign and Development Operations, Development leadership, Business Systems, Finance, and the Development Administrator this role helps ensure fundraising data is accurate, accessible, reliable, and useful for planning, reporting, and decision-making. The position translates Development needs into clear Salesforce requirements and helps communicate Salesforce functionality, limitations, and opportunities back to Development users, ensuring systems work supports fundraising operations in practical and effective ways.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong><em>Development Systems Administration & Data Governance</em></strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the Development team’s primary day-to-day Salesforce partner, managing the structure, integrity, security, flow, and organization of development-related data, including donor, fundraising, grant, campaign, and engagement information.</li><li>Ensure data is accurate, reliable, consistently structured, and aligned with Development reporting, forecasting, and operational needs.</li><li>Work in partnership with the Development Assistant, Business Systems, and under the direction of the Director of Campaign and Development Operations to maintain system functionality, support users, improve workflows, and coordinate Salesforce enhancements.</li><li>Translate Development business needs, fundraising workflows, and reporting requirements into clear Salesforce terminology and actionable requests for Business Systems or external consultants.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Reporting, Dashboards & Performance Monitoring</em></strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, maintain, and enhance reports and interactive dashboards that communicate fundraising progress, campaign effectiveness, key performance indicators, and pipeline movement to Development leadership and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure reporting tools support timely decision-making and provide clear visibility into performance across fundraising activities.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Data Analysis & Strategic Support</em></strong></p><ul><li>Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to fundraising performance, donor behavior, giving patterns, campaign activity, and donor engagement.</li><li>Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations that help Development leadership understand results, identify changes in engagement, and strengthen fundraising strategies.</li><li>Support donor analytics eff orts, including predictive modeling, wealth screening, propensity-to-give analysis, tracking moves, and identifying opportunities for renewal, upgrade, acquisition, and deeper engagement.</li><li>Maintain data integrity through consistent naming conventions, documentation practices, and shared standards for tracking, reporting, and moves management.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Forecasting Support & Performance Modeling</em></strong></p><ul><li>Support revenue forecasting, scenario planning, and performance modeling across annual giving, capital campaign, institutional, and major gift activity.</li><li>Monitor fundraising performance over time to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and pipeline health indicators.</li><li>Prepare forecast reports, variance summaries, and data-informed projections that help the Director of Development Operations and Development leadership assess progress toward goals and make timely adjustments.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Donor Segmentation & Targeted Outreach Support</em></strong></p><ul><li>Examine and maintain donor data to identify patterns, segment audiences, and support targeted donor outreach, cultivation, and stewardship efforts.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Fundraising Operations Support & Partnership</em></strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Development, ECE, and other internal departments to support fundraising activities providing data summaries and operational insights that inform Development planning and decision-making.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Business Systems Partnership</em></strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary day-to-day Development point of contact for Salesforce-related support needs, working under the direction of the Director of Campaign and Development Operations and in partnership with Business Systems.</li><li>Coordinate on troubleshooting, system enhancements, integrations, and cross-functional projects affecting Development operations.</li><li>Translate Development team needs, donor management processes, reporting requirements, and fundraising workflows into clear Salesforce requirements, and communicate Salesforce functionality, constraints, and recommended solutions back to Development staff in accessible language.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Data Quality, Validation & Administrative Coordination</em></strong></p><ul><li>Establish and maintain quality-control processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of development-related records, including gifts, grants, registrations, donor records, campaign information, and payment transactions.</li><li>Partner with the Development Administrator and other staff responsible for data entry to support accurate record maintenance, troubleshoot data issues, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and ensure records align with internal standards, reporting needs, and best practices.</li></ul><p><strong><em>CRM Improvement & System Optimization</em></strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement improvements to processes, workflows, and system use to enhance efficiency, data quality, reporting capabilities, and overall user experience.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Training & Documentation</em></strong></p><ul><li>Create and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for staff on CRM systems, reporting tools, and data management best practices. Maintain clear, current end-user documentation and SOPs.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Compliance & Data Security</em></strong></p><ul><li>Support compliance with Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, and IT policies, audit requirements, and data privacy standards by maintaining accurate records, following established protocols, and identifying potential data or process issues for review.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong><u>Bachelor’s degree required;</u> advanced degree preferred. Preferred fields include information systems, data analytics, business administration, nonprofit management, or related fields.</li><li><strong>Nonprofit/Fundraising Experience: </strong>Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a nonprofit, fundraising, or advancement setting preferred. Familiarity with fundraising activities, donor engagement strategies, donor lifecycle, campaign structure, and management. Experience supporting multiple fundraising campaigns preferred.</li><li><strong>Fundraising Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with fundraising activities, donor engagement strategies, donor lifecycle, campaign structure and management.
