Job Accountabilities:


Ensure working of automation in Own Terminal works to its fullest potential following Operating, HSSE, Quality, Quantity, Maintenance & Statutory norms while handling petroleum products to serve the customer.


Job Accountabilities:


Minimum operating and transit losses


  1. Proper line up and best cooperation with the Jetty officer /boarding officer to assess and get correct quantities leading to less losses
  2. Ensure that the present product stock as per the TIS is matching with the previous days day end closing stock
  3. Ensure utmost care during product receipts , deliveries and intertank transfers to avoid any spills.


Reduction in costs


  1. Proper line up and best cooperation with the Jetty officer /boarding officer for timely discharge to ensure nil demurrages
  2. Monitoring own consumption of Fuel
  3. Ensure the availability of pumps s in auto/remote mode to avoid idle running



Achievement of Q & Q proposition and customer satisfaction


  1. To update Density @15C as per the Batch formation certificate in TIS from time to time
  2. Monitoring the material temperature captured by RTD vs the actual material temperature physically recorded by GI. And 15C density captured by online densitometry Vs the density recorded in SAP system on regular basis also monitor preset Vs actual delivered qty of each BCU and TAS system continuous basis for accurate deliveries
  3. Monitor average TT cycle time inside the Terminal to minimize delays in sending replenishment of product to customers


Total compliance to Operations, HSSE, and Quality management system and maintenance procedures


  1. Ensuring 100% working of automation and Instrumentation. Raising deviation requests for any defects / malfunctioning of Instruments
  2. Ensuring proper functioning and timely calibration/proving/maintenance of Instrument like densitometer,TE, Turbine Flow meter etc, product pump, PDT, over spill sensor, instrument air pressure etc
  3. Periodic checking / calibration of ATG with manual gauging
  4. Checking of BCU/MOV status, checking the bay allocation activity performing deactivation/activation of bay based on bay meter performance and handing over it for maintenance job
  5. To keep track of all alarms and take prompt action, Reduction of alarms on month to month basis
  6. Periodic data back-ups stored
  7. Keeping track of Invensys Engineer visit reports and modifications
  8. Monitoring the performance of TCS on regular basis and trouble shooting in co-ordination with Instrument / APC group and generation, reconciliation of performance reports
  9. Keep abreast of all operating and ESD procedures and ensure smooth operation
  10. Comply to all ISO requirements, undertake internal ISO audits and achieve nil non conformities in ISO audits
  11. Ensure maintenance of IT infrastructure viz. LAN, VSAT, IT Racks, PCs, Printers, VC facility, TV, Video, other electronic equipments by coordinating with IT Helpdesk / Service Engineers appropriately
  12. Ensure maintenance upkeep of PAC equipments
  13. Ensuring working of engineering station panel cooling fans, maintaining of Temperature in C room, Engineering station room for healthy working of all electronic panels
  14. Ensuring that no rats / pests enter in to the c room / UPS / IT room / AC ducts and effect the sensitive electrical / electronic parts
  15. Keep abreast of fire order and onsite emergency plan and ensure ender tank farm team are fully framed On the same and perform roles as defined in the documents
  16. Ensure use of PPEs and system of work permits
  17. Maintaining of work permit register and tracking of closed permits.
  18. Maintaining Terminal equipment manuals library, Terminal drawings, vendor manuals etc


Learning and Development


  1. Impart functional training to employees and agency staff
  2. Arrange to conduct toolbox talks to TT crew and other contract staff
