Responsibilities: In this role, you will oversee the strategic vision and execution of marketing initiatives for Disney+ and Hulu, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving innovative marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and elevate the brand presence of both streaming services. This role matters because it directly impacts the growth and success of Disney+ and Hulu, requiring strong strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. Oversee a team tasked with building the overall strategy, coordination, and communication of the Disney+ and Hulu brand marketing efforts globally. Lead the strategic vision for the Disney+ and Hulu brands, working symbiotically with product and partnership marketing teams to develop end-to-end campaigns. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for internal marketing department leads and cross-line of business partners, including content marketing leaders across brands, franchise, paid media, social and creative teams plus more. Facilitate department-wide brainstorms, championing big ideas and innovative thinking. Present campaign strategy and updates to large groups, ensuring integration and consistent messaging across all marketing departments and activities. Approve campaign messaging across all materials, ensuring consistency and integration with wider marketing campaigns. Partner with Disney Entertainment content teams on high-impact original programming campaigns to grow Disney+ and Hulu, develop customized content, and create targeted programs to enhance visibility and social awareness. Provide financial oversight of Disney+ and Hulu brand marketing, partnering with Finance in budgeting, AOP & Five Year Planning process, and day-to-day P&A management. Create materials and internal pitching tools, tailoring the messaging to suit the audience. Secure all necessary approvals on marketing elements, championing marketing executions and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders. Required Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in a marketing role and/or similar function leading high-priority brand projects with multiple key stakeholders and direct reports. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Cinema/Television, or a related field. Experience creating strategy and executing brand campaigns. Experience interfacing with high-level executives and stakeholders. Experience working with highly matrixed marketing organizations. High degree of competency around budget management and campaign planning. Strong communication and presentation skills, specifically large group presentations. Ability to customize and tailor communication style and approach for different audiences. Strong credibility and executive presence. Willingness to take risks and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lead a diverse team and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Open to international and domestic travel. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in a related field. Experience marketing entertainment content and/or subscription-based services. Proven success in building an iconic brand in the direct-to-consumer space. Strong partner engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships and strengthen existing partner channels. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $236,000 to $316,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
