We’re seeking a Transportation Claims Adjuster who brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to managing auto and trucking liability claims.</div><div> <br>The Transportation Claims Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving commercial transportation-related claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Claims may include Bodily Injury (BI), Commercial General Liability (CGL), and other Commercial Liability (CL) exposures arising from transportation operations.</div><div> <br>This role handles claims of increasing complexity depending on level and collaborates with clients, insureds, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>5+ years of liability or transportation claims experience.</li> <li>Manages moderate complexity claims involving BI and commercial liability exposures.</li> <li>Conducts more independent coverage analysis and claim strategy decisions.</li> <li>May handle files with attorney representation and moderate litigation activity.</li> <li>Demonstrates developing expertise in transportation claims.</li> </ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Skills, knowledge & expertise</h3><ul> <li>Must be bilingual in Spanish (fluent speak/read)</li> <li>Claims adjusting licenses as required by jurisdiction.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of liability claims handling practices.</li> <li>Experience handling BI, CGL, or transportation-related claims preferred.</li> <li>Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards.</li> <li>Proficiency with claims management systems and related technology.</li> <li>Active adjuster license(s) or ability to obtain as required.</li> </ul><div><strong>Preferred</strong></div><ul> <li>Experience handling trucking claims, including DOT regulations and federal compliance</li> <li>Exposure to high-exposure or litigated claims</li> <li>Familiarity with cargo, environmental, or multi-party liability claims</li> <li>Multi-state claims handling experience</li> </ul><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices</h3><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div>At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
