The SVP Key Account Management will drive multi-year, growth-oriented account strategies focused on long-term value creation, retention, and expansion across top-tier global accounts.</p><p>Working closely with the EVP this role will leverage an established industry network to develop multi-program and multi-year initiatives within key accounts. The objective is to deepen strategic relationships, increase share of wallet, and unlock new growth opportunities while ensuring operational excellence and delivery reliability.</p><p>The role requires strong commercial judgement, deep scientific understanding, and the ability to lead complex outcomes through matrix and lateral leadership across R&D, Operations, Legal, Finance, and enabling functions.</p><p></p><p><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and execute comprehensive multi-year account strategies aligned with corporate priorities</p></li><li><p>Own and evolve account plans for top current and future high-value customers</p></li><li><p>Drive revenue growth, retention, satisfaction, and expansion within assigned accounts</p></li><li><p>Identify, shape, and close new opportunities within existing accounts</p></li><li><p>Proactively develop entry strategies for prospective key customers within the territory</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain executive-level relationships, including scientific C-level stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Lead Joint Steering Committees and Quarterly Joint Business Reviews</p></li><li><p>Define operational success metrics per account and track value realization</p></li><li><p>Manage renewal and expansion motions based on performance and strategic alignment</p></li><li><p>Shape pipeline opportunities within accounts including upsell, cross-sell, new site, and therapeutic area expansion</p></li><li><p>Conduct whitespace analysis and semiannual account tiering reviews</p></li><li><p>Balance growth ambition with delivery feasibility and margin discipline</p></li><li><p>Lead matrix coordination across R&D, Operations, Legal, Finance, and other enabling functions from opportunity through delivery</p></li><li><p>Ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction</p></li><li><p>Monitor performance against plans and drive corrective actions where required</p></li><li><p>Apply disciplined qualification and early-stage filtering of non-promising opportunities</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who You Are:</b></p><ul><li><p>Medical or scientific background preferred; alternatively, business background with significant CRO, CDMO, or biopharma experience</p></li><li><p>Several years of relevant industry experience</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience managing large strategic accounts at executive level</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in enterprise-level key account management and new customer development</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration</p></li><li><p>Strong expertise in drug discovery and pre-clinical development</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of precision medicine platforms and competitive market dynamics</p></li><li><p>Ability to design and execute long-term account strategies aligned with corporate objectives</p></li><li><p>Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability</p></li><li><p>Ability to balance growth, operational feasibility, and margin discipline</p></li><li><p>Experience leading through influence in a matrix environment</p></li><li><p>Portfolio mindset across multi-year account development</p></li><li><p>Focus on durable, predictable, and strategically aligned partnerships</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Join Us:</b></p><p>Evotec offers a differentiated precision medicine and multimodal discovery platform designed for sustained value creation.
