<p>Environment Illinois is hiring full-time canvassers and field managers in Chicago to protect wetlands by educating the public and raising funds. They also keep our water clean, filtering out pollutants before they reach drinking water sources like Lake Michigan. Unfortunately only 10% of our wetlands remain, and those wetlands don’t have enough protection.<br><br><br>Environment Illinois is calling for comprehensive protections of all our wetlands.
