The role will work with all Local Sales reps and leaders to best support their markets and needs to identify, pursue and acquire new business. The role will work collaboratively with National Sales teams to embrace and enhance our current methodology for prospect and pipeline management. Play a lead support role in acquisition of new, high-profile clients and focus on supporting cross-functional communication and engagement. Responsible for marshaling and coordinating all resources required to structure an approved/endorsed agreement and secure the business.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span class="emphasis-2"><b>This position is virtual/remote which means the work can be completed from anywhere is the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories with about 75% travel requirements for the role.</b></span></p><p><b><u>RESPONSIBILITIES </u></b> </p><ul><li><p>Support in the pursuit of targets identified as locally managed region concepts that meet segment criteria for local sales pursued opportunities.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Directly or in support of local teams, develop, pursue, and present US Foods program value to new customer targets within the RC Segment and provide innovative customer solutions that set us apart in the market.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Analyze, synthesize, and communicate results of local sales new business opportunities within segment with emphasis on growing market share.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Research and develop data on all targets including key executives and contact information, current distributors, and estimated sales volume.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Identify key targets in every market and work with Directors or Vice Presidents to gain alignment and direction.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Drive the adoption and implementation of SOUS.
