The Senior Actuary’s primary responsibility is to lead the experience study process for the Life Solutions Traditional Life business.</p> <p><br>Essential Functions:<br>(60%) Technical Support and Analysis<br> • Lead the technical completion of the traditional mortality experience studies and model validation by writing and running R code utilizing an internal R package.<br> • Implement new statistical methodologies to further analytic abilities and strengthen the assumption review/adjustment process.<br> • Summarize experience results and work with the AVP, Actuary, to improve the model assumptions.<br> • Implement assumption updates to the SQL assumption database and perform impact analysis on the projected financial results. Review results for reasonableness to validate correct implementation.
