[Remote] Sales Director, Jewelry Events (Hybrid Norwalk, CT)

Korn Ferry is seeking a Sales Director for Jewelry Events who will drive revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic account development across the jewelry event portfolio. This role involves leading a high-performing sales team and executing sales strategies while collaborating with various departments to ensure commercial success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute event sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across exhibition space, sponsorship, digital products, and ancillary revenue streams
  • Identify opportunities for new business acquisition, customer expansion, and growth within emerging jewelry market segments
  • Ensure sales plans and territory/account strategies are developed and executed 10–12 months in advance of event delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify commercial opportunities and risks
  • Build strong relationships with key exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, buyers, and strategic partners within the jewelry sector
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, sponsorship packages, and multi-event partnerships
  • Represent the company and portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers and Account Executives to drive high performance and accountability
  • Establish clear KPIs, sales targets, and activity expectations across the team
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management through Salesforce and reporting dashboards
  • Analyze sales performance data to provide actionable insights and identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage pricing strategy execution and inventory optimization in collaboration with leadership
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align campaigns, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies
  • Work with Sponsorship and Digital Sales teams to maximize integrated commercial opportunities

Skills

  • Proven B2B sales leadership experience, preferably within events, exhibitions, luxury goods, jewelry, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success managing high-value accounts and delivering revenue growth
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams in target-driven environments
  • Strong commercial negotiation and strategic account management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
