Responsibilities

  • Identify and capture new business opportunities with key customers
  • Maintain a current order forecast
  • Provide quotations for standard products and be equally capable of contributing to the development of complex high-dollar value proposals for the full range of Narda-MITEQ products
  • Lead and manage external manufacturing representatives within assigned territory, driving performance, accountability, and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated written communication skills in English language is essential
  • Sets appropriate objectives to meet desired revenue goals
  • Qualifies and directs sales activities compliant with corporate guidelines
  • Performs account management activities to include business development, lead generation, customer qualification, proposal delivery, and contract negotiation
  • Understands and assimilates the latest technologies and market data to create account propositions and competitive solutions for high value opportunities
  • Establishes a communication path between the company and the Sales Representative/Customer to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops and supports timely resolution to customer or Rep related issues
  • Assists sales, support, and marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotion, training, or market research in planning and executing projects
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary IPT teams to recommend new application and product features and strategy for the strategic account or territory

Skills

  • Requires Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience or 10+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge and experience in an appropriate technical discipline that will enable them to maintain full and reasonable understanding of our entire product range, RF specific technical ability is necessary but demonstrated ability in parallel or related technical fields to those of Microwave and RF can also be considered
  • Proven experience partnering with prime defense contractors to identify and track program activity, leveraging market intelligence to secure design-in opportunities and accurately forecast order timing
  • Must have the appropriate skill necessary to negotiate and close multi-million-dollar contracts
  • Must be capable of developing successful account strategies to increase market penetration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi-cultural skills are essential
  • Must possess willingness to regularly travel as necessary
  • Candidates must have the ability to manage own time without continuous supervision
  • Ability to provide reliable forecast and achieve individual and team booking revenue plan
  • Residence in the South-Central Region of the United States highly preferred due to travel requirements
  • Ability to achieve Secret Level Security Clearance is desired but not mandatory
