[Remote] Product Analyst - Vmake · North America

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Meitu Inc. is building an AI-powered video creation platform that empowers creators, brands, and e-commerce sellers. As a Product Analyst, you will combine product thinking, user research, and data-driven insights to shape features that resonate with North American creators.


Responsibilities

  • Become a power user of Vmake’s AI video tools by testing new features, identifying usability issues, and evaluating the overall creator experience
  • Analyze user behavior, creator feedback, and product metrics to uncover opportunities for product improvements
  • Monitor trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Shopify, and emerging creator platforms, translating market insights into actionable product recommendations
  • Partner with Product Managers to define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support roadmap planning
  • Conduct competitive research on AI-powered creative tools and video editing platforms, identifying best practices and product gaps
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user feedback into clear product recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams throughout feature discovery, testing, and iteration
  • Assist in defining success metrics and evaluating feature performance after launch
  • Create documentation including product briefs, user stories, competitive analyses, and feature specifications

Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product, Product Analysis, Product Operations, or a related product role within SaaS, AI, creator economy, social media, or e-commerce technology
  • Strong understanding of the North American creator ecosystem and short-form video platforms
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and enthusiasm for generative AI technologies
  • Experience translating customer pain points into clear product requirements
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities
  • Active content creator with a public portfolio or social media presence
  • Experience with TikTok Shop, Amazon, Shopify, or creator-focused commerce platforms
  • Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, or product discovery
  • Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Figma
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or similar platforms
