Inside Sales Analyst

<strong>Objective:</strong> The purpose of this position is to build new business and maintain and grow existing accounts, resulting in increased revenue and market share that meet the Company’s strategy and goals for Distribution Services.<br><br><strong>Essential Job Functions:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Pursue new and existing customers to discover current, under-served and future needs.</li><li>Perform sales analysis.</li><li>Sales of added products to existing customers.</li><li>Quote standard prices, terms, and other elements of service/contract. </li><li>Follow up on quotations getting customer feedback and market information</li><li>This position will travel approximately 25% of the time and manage a set of accounts agreed with the NSM</li><li>This position will follow a particular segment or blend of segments attached to a NSM or other leader in the sales team<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Primary Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Pursue new and existing customers to discover current, under-served and future needs</li><li>Explain how customer needs could be uniquely met by NORMA Group products and services</li><li>Answer customers' questions about products, prices, features, availability, terms or conditions of sale</li><li>Develop and follow-up on leads</li><li>Quote prices (including structure and analysis), terms, and other elements of service / contract.</li><li>Close new customers and sales of added products to existing customers. </li><li>Market/sell through direct customer contact activities (phone, email, etc.)</li><li>Manage promotions</li><li>Perform sales analysis where needed<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Reports To:</strong> Director of Busines Development<br><br><strong>Department:</strong> Distribution Services Sales<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Distribution Center (Lake Orion, MI)<br><br><strong>Leadership Responsibilities:</strong> Individual contributor.<br><br><strong>Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<br><br></strong>Required:<br><br><ul><li>(4 year) Bachelor’s degree from accredited college / university</li><li>1 years’ experience with a manufacturing company</li><li>2 years’ sales / related experience interacting with external customers</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)</li><li>Strong verbal / phone communications skills</li><li>Ability to prepare presentations / other documents as sales aids and for internal communication</li><li>Self-motivated with high energy level</li><li>Passion for customer satisfaction</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated results achieved in developing new customers / maintaining / growing existing customers.</li><li>Some technical or mechanical aptitude as necessary to understand the general use and application of NORMA group products<br><br><br></li></ul>Highly Desired:<br><br><ul><li>Knowledge / experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems </li><li>Knowledge / experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems </li><li>Experience selling manufactured products to a variety of markets including, but not limited to aftermarket, retail and distribution.</li><li>Experience with clamps or similar metallic product families</li><li>Marketing experience</li><li>Ability to move into more senior sales roles including outside sales<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong> None.<br><br><strong>Work Environment:</strong> This position works in a home office/DC office.
