About Us

Daycare is seeking a dedicated, creative, and caring Elementary School Teacher to help lead and manage our homeschool enrichment program within a nurturing daycare environment. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about individualized learning, fostering academic growth, and creating engaging educational experiences for elementary-aged children.

Position Summary

The Elementary School Teacher will oversee daily instruction and educational activities for homeschooled students enrolled in our program. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, support students' academic development, and collaborate with families to ensure educational goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for elementary-aged homeschool students.
  • Provide instruction in core subjects, including reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Create hands-on learning experiences and enrichment activities.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs.
  • Collaborate with daycare staff to coordinate schedules and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with state homeschool and childcare regulations as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification preferred but not required for the right candidate.
  • Experience teaching elementary-aged children.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for individualized instruction and child development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with homeschool education programs.
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction and multi-age learning environments.
  • Ability to integrate creative, project-based, and hands-on learning activities.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
