Our entire team is remote across the United States, from the West Coast to the East Coast. There will never be a return-to-office, as we have none!<br><br>This position's published base salary range is between $110,000 and $140,000 annually, plus generous benefits (e.g., For People pays 100% of Gold-tier employee health insurance premiums) and annual company profit sharing.</p><h2><strong>Your Opportunities</strong></h2><p>At For People, you will:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement data models to find efficiencies and identify trends using statistical techniques.</li><li>Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets, specifically focusing on the Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) Analytic Files (TAF), to generate actionable insights.</li><li>Collaborate within a dedicated team of analysts and program experts to build interactive self-service dashboards that translate complex metrics into user-centric visualizations.</li><li>Support the incremental development of data governance frameworks to ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and security.</li><li>Utilize human-centered design principles to ensure all technical outputs are intuitive, accessible, and directly aligned with the needs of stakeholders and beneficiaries.</li></ul><h2><strong>You Bring</strong></h2><ul><li>A humble and caring attitude aligning with For People’s values – how we work with passion, fun, curiosity, sustainability, humility, and respect.</li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering complex data projects.</li><li>Expert-level proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large, complex datasets.</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.</li><li>Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes in a modern cloud environment.</li><li>A deep curiosity and passion for untangling complex problems and a drive to see your work create a positive social impact.</li></ul>Prior exposure to healthcare insurance, CMS, or state Medicaid data is a bonus.<h2><strong>Additional Details</strong></h2><p>You will be working on a United States government platform, and they have a few basic requirements for contractors like ourselves.
