This role will be a part of the Senior Leadership Team with both strategic decision-making and daily operational management of the Accounting and Finance team associated with the Corporate Support Group.<br><br><strong>General Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Leads Accounting, Tax. FP&A, AP, Credit, Compliance & Internal Audit Functions.</li><li>Will be responsible for four managers and their respective direct reports</li><li>Plan, develop, organize, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.</li><li>Lead day-to-day financial operations.</li><li>Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; develop or improve the finance department's overall policy and procedure manual.</li><li>Form strong relationships throughout the organization resulting in high collaboration across functions, including marketing, sales, operations, human resources, information technology and customer service.</li><li>Participate as a strategic contributor and member of the Senior Leadership Team in the development of the company's plans, programs, mission, and vision.</li><li>Lead digital transformation by facilitating the intersection of strategy, technology, and financial management.</li><li>Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner".<br><br></li></ul><strong>Educational/Job Requirements<br><br></strong>The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA with public accounting background is highly desired, eight or more years of financial/accounting and management experience in a similar business environment, strong financial and accounting background, including an expert understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and display proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. The Corporate Controller should have knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and functions. The ideal candidate will also be detail oriented and highly organized to customers, sales team, and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
