Business Analyst

<p>Position Overview </p> <p>Join our Product team as a Business Analyst and play a critical role in helping Ceresti understand problems, evaluate opportunities, and make data-informed decisions across the organization. In this role, you will partner deeply with our Operations team to understand current workflows, identify gaps between operational needs and product capabilities, and document the requirements needed to build product solutions that close those gaps. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will help define requirements, measure impact, and support execution by ensuring teams are grounded in a shared understanding of the problem and the data behind it. </p> <p>About Us & What We Do </p> <p>Ceresti is on a mission to reduce avoidable hospitalizations and improve care for people living with dementia while improving the lives of their families and caregivers. Together, we create solutions that make a lasting impact on the healthcare ecosystem, enabling more compassionate and cost-effective care for those who need it most. </p> <p>Responsibilities </p> <p>Business & Product Analysis </p> <ul><li>Analyze business performance, operational workflows, and current product experience to identify opportunities for improvement across products and internal processes. </li></ul> <ul><li>Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, clear insights, and actionable recommendations. </li></ul> <ul><li>Support product development by producing clear requirements documentation (e.g., business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, gap analyses, acceptance criteria) grounded in operational reality and user needs. </li></ul> <p>Data Analysis, Reporting & Dashboards </p> <ul><li>Use SQL for ad-hoc analysis to support product launches and answer recurring business questions, partnering with the Analytics team on deeper investigations. </li></ul> <ul><li>Partner with the Analytics team to define success metrics and surface insights for product launches and operational initiatives. </li></ul> <ul><li>Ensure data outputs are accurate, well-documented, and easy for stakeholders to understand and use in decision-making. </li></ul> <ul><li>Partner with data, engineering, and analytics stakeholders to improve data quality, definitions, and accessibility. </li></ul> <p>Discovery & Stakeholder Collaboration </p> <ul><li>Lead discovery efforts, including stakeholder interviews and current-state workflow mapping, to deeply understand operational workflows, pain points, and gaps where the product can better support the operations team and end users. </li></ul> <ul><li>Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear narratives that align teams around the “why” behind decisions. </li></ul> <ul><li>Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and operations partners to ensure insights and requirements are understood, prioritized, and implemented effectively. </li></ul> <p>Insights, Impact & Continuous Improvement </p> <ul><li>Continuously surface business insights across the organization to inform strategy, prioritization, and execution. </li></ul> <ul><li>Measure the impact of product, operational, and partnership initiatives and communicate results to stakeholders. </li></ul> <ul><li>Identify and pilot opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve analytical workflows and team productivity. </li></ul> <ul><li>Contribute to improving business analysis practices, tools, and standards within the Product team. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications </p> <p>Education </p> <ul><li>BS/BA degree or higher. </li></ul> <p>Experience </p> <ul><li>2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally bridging operations and product teams. </li></ul> <ul><li>Proven ability to break down complex systems and processes into measurable components. </li></ul> <ul><li>Proven ability to translate business needs into clear documented requirements, process flows, and gap analyses. </li></ul> <ul><li>Experience leading discovery, stakeholder interviews, and current-state workflow mapping. </li></ul> <ul><li>Comfortable writing SQL for ad-hoc analysis. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Omni, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) preferred. </li></ul> <ul><li>Familiarity with software development processes and product management methodologies (e.g. Agile). </li></ul> <ul><li>Experience using AI tools for productivity </li></ul> <ul><li>Experience in healthcare operations, care delivery, or clinical workflow environments is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills </p> <ul><li>Strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <ul><li>Curious mindset with a bias toward learning and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li></ul> <ul><li>Comfortable working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguity. </li></ul> <ul><li>Reliable, persistent, and results-oriented. </li></ul> <ul><li>Highly organized with strong time-management skills. </li></ul> <ul><li>Easy to work with; collaborative, transparent, and high-integrity. </li></ul> <ul><li>Must be able to pass a background check. </li></ul> <p>Job Type </p> <ul><li>Full time </li></ul> <p>Location </p> <ul><li>This position is fully remote.
