Airbnb Assistant

We are looking for an Airbnb Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a growing vacation rental business by managing guest communication, reservations, and property coordination. This is a fast-paced role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth property operations.

Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries through Airbnb, VRBO, SMS, email, and other messaging platforms.
- Manage guest communication before, during, and after each stay.
- Handle booking requests, reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
- Provide check-in and check-out instructions and assist guests throughout their stay.
- Resolve guest issues professionally and coordinate solutions when needed.
- Manage calendars across multiple booking platforms to ensure reservation accuracy.
- Prevent double bookings and monitor upcoming reservations.
- Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance teams, and vendors to ensure properties are guest-ready.
- Schedule turnovers and monitor cleaning completion.
- Track maintenance requests and follow up until issues are resolved.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, spreadsheets, and operational reports.
- Update property information, availability, and pricing as instructed.
- Assist with documenting and improving operational processes (SOPs).
- Support the owner with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Ensure a consistently high level of guest satisfaction through timely communication and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience managing Airbnb or other short-term rental properties.
- Experience with guest messaging and customer support.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and conversations simultaneously.
- Comfortable using Airbnb, VRBO, Google Workspace, and property management systems.
- Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented.
- Experience coordinating cleaners and maintenance vendors is a plus.
